Is there a error in catching rate of murkrow ?

Post by figig » Mon Jul 30, 2018 3:04 pm

Today i tried using 7 Pokeballs to catch a murkrow by using butterfree's sleep powder, but i could catch it with normal 200c Pokeball, but when i tried it with a great ball, i caught it easily. Why is this so ? Is there any fault in using a pokeball ??

That actually sounds closer to how Poke ball tiers are supposed to work from the official games because Murkow didn't normally have a super-easy catch chance. I wouldn't consider something like that to be an error if this is the case.

I used 10 ultra balls and i still can't catch murkrow.

When people look for me, I'm usually not there.
But when I look for people, they're not there too...

Did you decrease the Pokemon's HP before trying to catch it? Like the official games, it's much easier if you decrease the HP AND put the Pokemon to sleep. I found that sleep + false swipe (leaving 1 HP left) + Poke Ball catches most Pokemon on the map most of the time.
