For the latest changelog updates, please check the last post of this topic. Thanks!

This is a list of all the edits (minor or major) to the quests/storylines that I have done over the past couple of weeks. These changes are only for the pre-legendary chapters leading up to Wildhaven Town.

11 January 2017
Edited the dialogue of the Wingull Delivery Person quest at the Dorocoast Docks so it's easier to know that Jane is located at the Magikarp Fanatic's house.
Fixed the typos that were reported after the last time I fixed typos.

2 January 2017
Moomoo milk drop rate has been improved- it should now drop every time you defeat a Miltank.
The door guard in the Dorocoast Safari Gatehouses now also step aside when you purchase the Lifetime Membership, so you don't have to refresh/leave and come back to visit the safari after purchasing it.
The NPC on the Northwest Eastbourne Farmland who gave you prizes for defeating Sunkern will now also reward you the lower tier prizes if you didn't acquire them yet. (This is mainly for the people who had their progress lost but still retained the previous 200+ defeats from the pre-rollback).
Edited the Diglett Run Cave game in Oldpine Town to give slightly better rewards. The Sandmarsh version is still the dominant one though.
Fixed a small issue involving people who started out at the third gym and couldn't acquire the badge for the second one afterward.
The Riddle Grunt quest now allows non-originally-owned Pokemon to complete the riddles.
All those extra Retried Arcanines appearing after the Birthday Wishes quest shouldn't happen anymore!
Fixed some general "lines running out of the box" that appeared during some dialogue.
Fixed some minor typos. Still probably missed a bunch though, so please do report any you find in the bug area of the forum.
The Pokefood seller in the Dorocoast Safari Entrance gatehouses now charge a flat fee of 10 coins per food for all, instead of 20 for non-prem and 10 for prem. (It was originally doing this anyway due to a shop bug, but now it's official)

(Please note: I'm not a developer so bugs or errors relating to tournaments/skills/verification/accounts etc. are not in my area of access/jurisdiction.)

5 January 2017:
Some of the maps near the beginning areas of the game have been converted to winter mode in preparation of the belated winter event (at this moment the event is not finished yet, but it is getting close to completion).

The exact maps that have been winterfied are:
Grassy Patch
Bluegum Town
Route 1
Route 2
Darlinghurst Town
Darlinghurst East
Darlinghust Ranch
Route 3
Route 4
Newpine Town
Route 5
Oldpine Town
Oldpine Jailfield
Route 15
Route 16
Wildhaven Town

If the winterfied maps still show the green version or only one of the layers properly display, you can clear your cache to resolve the problem. Ctrl + F5 will fix maps on an individual basis, but clearing your entire cache through your browser settings panel is recommended because of the amount of map images that got updated.

These winter changes are purely cosmetic and do nothing of importance. Except for maybe the hail on Route 15 and 16 that can fall on Pokemon during battle.

(PS: the avatar sheet used by the game was also recently updated, so if your avatar or the people around you render incorrectly or have the wrong sprite, ctrl + F5 will fix that too)

Some of those maps now have a foggy weather so that will affect battles.

This is a copy of the blog entry: http://blog.pokemonlegends.com/and-the- ... ow-part-2/ but posted here too for increased visibility.

You can expect the event to start to be taken down at System Time 2017/1/08 14:00:00 (which is approximately 24 hours from the time of the blog post).

To view the current System time in game you can use /time in the chat (note: the time will only display in the Player Chat tab).

The winter event is still being worked on and would most likely take a few more days if there are no significant problems with the game.

This event was largely planned by Aerobous, so a belated happy birthday goes to him!

And with that release I can now start to work on reviving and modifying the legendary storyline and Route 13/14 and beyond.

All of the winterfied beginning maps have been reverted back to their normal green state! If you still see some snow on those maps, or one of the layers is still rendering the old snow, you can clear your cache to force your browser to update the map images.

This is just a visual change as we start prepping for the Valentines event; no actual updates have been released with this.

Blog entry here: http://blog.pokemonlegends.com/the-lone ... day-event/

This is a special and experimental event which gains its story line inspiration from a heavily popular request on the suggestion forum. To begin the event, look for an item ball that is suspiciously sitting in the middle of the Bluegum Mart.

Are you bored? Need to vent your frustration on innocent Pokemon? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then this post is for you!

From now until System Time 2017/04/02 18:30:00 (that's approximately 24 hours) there is an NPC with an urgent mission that needs your help in the Grassy Patch that is available to select people! It will be standing in the grass near the fence.

If you meet the following qualifications* below, you will be able to participate in this short once-in-a-lifetime activity!
  • Have a verified account
  • Have at least 4 badges
  • Have at least 600 Pokemon
  • Have at least one Magikarp originally owned in your possession
  • Posted one message to the chat since the time you registered
  • Have won at least 1 tournament
  • Traded at least one Pokemon
  • Never been chat or account banned
  • Never received a System warning message
  • Must have a username that is at least 6 characters long and contain at least 1 letter
  • Purchased an Ultra Ball
  • Have at least 5 forum posts
  • Know how to take and post screenshots
  • Logged into the game at least 3 times
  • Completed at least 2 quests in game
  • Defeated a Quagsire in battle
  • Know the basic colors of the rainbow

If you meet the criteria, run over to the Grassy Patch to get started!

And don't forget, this mini NPC will only be around for 24 hours!

*These qualifications are completely made up and don't exist

These are some various storyline changes/additions that were done over the past couple of months, and some recently released:

Exsiting storyline/NPC changes/additions
The Numel Ride System for the Sunrock desert is now available. This is a quest that you can initiate by speaking to a person near the Sandmarsh Gatehouse. Once the quest is completed you will be able to have some Numel NPCs warp you to select areas within the desert.
Fixed the dialouge of a girl in Sandmarsh Town
Sycamore no longer violently throws you out of the bed during his interaction scene in the Eastbourne Rental House.
Sycamore now disappears from the Eastbourne Rental house at some point in the overall story. (He used to idle in there forever).
Raian will also now walk into the house when you talk to him after the professor gifts to you the Ball Trinket. Previously he would stand there until you leave.
The tileset in the Oldpine Jail has been given a facelift to look less low-budget.
Some of the diner NPC teams have been edited to have slightly better Pokemon.
A nurse is now in every diner- she will heal you in exchange for a Diner Coupon.
You can now visit the house next to the Darlinghurst Eatery at any time. This house was previously used in the winter event. (Nothing special about this house; I'm just noting that you can visit it)
A Helper NPC now appears in Blackfell Town when you're doing John's Honey Mushroom quest, because a lot of people forget about giving him the mushroom.

Megastones (these are recent releases so please allow around 1 hour from the time of this post for the NPC cache to update on your end)
A Manectite is now available. It can be obtained via quest on Route 6
A Gengarite is now available. It can be found somewhere within the Blackfell Caverns
