Gender differences

Post by Olmagon » Sat Jul 07, 2018 6:44 am

I suggest that we give gender differences to Pokemon that have them.So far only nidoran has them, even though many others have them too.I was very surprised when I saw a female pyroar and jellicent with the male sprite. Also, some genderless Pokemon have genders. I couldn’t believe that my shedinja and metagross were males at first because they shouldn’t have genders.

I would also like to see this, but to have it proper the devs would need to reconfigure the images for the game. Right now each Pokemon species is only assigned one image for normal, shiny and gold and so there's nothing to natively designate a male vs female image, unless it's done in the way of Meowstic and has a female set to a different ID.

I just found that gender difference isn’t the only problem,so is gender ratio. For example,Tauros is an all male species, but I have seen and caught females.
